Rosberg hints at ‘nonsense’ in Hamilton lifestyle

Rosberg hints at 'nonsense' in Hamilton lifestyle
Nico Rosberg is charging out of the summer break determined to fire everything at his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton.

Reigning champion Hamilton, leading the duo’s in-house 2015 battle by 21 points, entered the August shutdown period with a notably bad outing in Hungary.

The gossip media then followed the Briton’s every step through August, including shirtless, cigar-smoking jaunts with the pop star Rihanna, and mingling with celebrities including Jack Nicholson, Jamie Foxx and Bon Jovi.

Boss Toto Wolff insisted he does not think Hamilton is losing focus on F1.

“In these holiday weeks,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport last week, “everyone has the right to be left alone.”

In contrast, however, Rosberg has spent his downtime at home with his heavily pregnant wife.

And the German is bursting back into action for this weekend’s Belgian grand prix with some comments that might be interpreted as a psychological jab at Hamilton’s lifestyle.

“Your private life does have an impact,” he told Germany’s Auto Bild. “You need to be in balance and go to the race weekend with a clear mind.

“I read about it from time to time. It is mainly about finding your own way to concentrate.

“It is important in sport that you do not have too much other nonsense in your head,” he added. (GMM)

The reality is that Hamilton, who I think is a bit of an ass these days, has raw and natural talent that Rosberg just doesn’t have. So Rosberg can be well rested, centered and focused and still get trumped by a “fresh off a holiday bender” Lewis Hamilton simply because Lewis has skills that Rosberg can’t fathom. Life’s not fair, but there it is. Now, Hamilton’s lifestyle could also cause him to flame out at some point…but he’ll probably settle down again (he’s newly single, remember) and get back to it in a more reserved manner.

Maybe Hamilton has it right because for 3 consecutive years the nonsense in his head allowed him the comprehensively beat Mr Rosberg.
I think the media plays a lot in how we see sport stars and celebrities, and in this case despite having the upper hand on Rosberg since teaming up it is Rosberg who is constantly be given the favourable reports. Why follow Hamilton around to slate his character while his opponents are left to their own privacy? Hamilton is a single man and Rosberg is not, so Hamilton would not identify with the things Rosberg does and vice versa. Hamilton’s private life is his and we should all respect that. After all isn’t this the same media that gave the disgraced Mosely a pass for his wild orgies and bondage with high-cost prostitutes, dressed in Nazi uniform? Mosely is an old man engaging in such lewd and despicable acts, at least Hamilton is still young. The journalists we have today are dime a dozen and is responsible in part for the dumbing down of our society, which is heavily influence by social media and the internet.

I like Nico, but when you’re second…? All you should be doing is shuting up until you prove your way and thinking is best…
