Lewis Hamilton will start on poleposition for Sunday’s Bahrain Grand Prix after clocking the fastest time on his final lap after the chequered flag had fallen.

The Briton will be alongside Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel, who outpaced the Mercedes of Nico Rosberg.
