Former F1 driver David Coulthard, who won 13 races for Williams and McLaren during his 15-year of Formula 1 career, predicts the German Nico Rosberg will come back stronger in 2015 F1 after his strong experience of last season.
Mercedes duo battle went to the wire last season but finally Hamilton, having beaten his opponent in almost all on-track match-ups that occurred, ultimately secured the World Title.
It was anxious matter at times in the 2014 season with the duo reportedly not on speaking terms at times after races, but they ended as friends and are looking forward to next year’s battle.
“I see Nico being stronger than he was, as he now has this experience of battling for a World Championship,” he told Autosport.
“That was the first time he had the spotlight of expectation.”
A lot of drivers, and I know this from personal experience, think ‘if I was in a winning car then winning would be easy’, but winning is not easy even in a winning car. It’s difficult and it should be difficult as usually you have a strong competitor in the other car.”
