Two DRS zones for Austrian Grand Prix

Red-Bull-Ring-track-map-728x640
The Red Bull Ring is very different in character, with two main straights and mostly sharp corners. As a result, average speeds are generally low, meaning that the cars will have to rely on mechanical grip from the tyres more than aerodynamic down-force. However, with no team having tested on the track, the weekend will be something of a step into the unknown for teams and drivers.

DRS ZONES

There will be two DRS zones in Austria. The detection point of the first zone is 360m before Turn Two, with the activation point 85m after Turn Two.

The second detection point is 10m after Turn Eight with the activation point 110m after Turn Nine.
