FIA: Rosberg retains pole position after stewards investigation

Finally it’s confirmed Nico Rosberg will start Monaco Grand Prix from pole position, after race stewards investigation.

Following the investigation stewards confirms no further action on his fault during the final session of qualifying.

(FIA)The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, heard from the driver and team
representative, examined video/telemetry evidence, have considered the following matter and
determine the following.

Facts Turn 5 incident

Decision No offence was committed by the driver of car 6.

Reason The Stewards examined video and telemetry data from the team and FIA and could find no evidence of any offence related to the turn 5 incident.
