Hamilton quickest man in tricky Monaco GP first practice

Another Mercedes one-two, Lewis Hamilton again set fastest than his team-mate Nico Rosberg. Hamilton is having a few issues with his practice starts.

Red Bull duo was done best of the rest, with Daniel Ricciardo just two tenths further back and once again getting the better of team-mate Sebastian Vettel.

Fernando Alonso set fourth fastest ahead four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel and his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen. Another impressive performance done the Williams speedy Valtteri Bottas, he managed seventh fastest without any major trouble.

The early stage of the session Force India speedy Sergio Perez managed third fastest, but rivals improvement force back him, eighth on the time-sheet.

Fantastic performance from McLaren rookie Kevin Magnussen, who finishes two tenths quicker than his team-mate Jenson Button on his first time at Monaco in an F1 car.

The second Force India speedy, Nico Hulkenberg completed the top ten in the morning training time-sheet, ahead of McLaren’s Jenson Button and Esteban Gutierrez, who was did a remarkable 12th fastest for Sauber.

Lotus duo Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado, improved better than last races, they managed 13th and 14th respectively.
