Bottas pleased Spanish GP fifth; we got the maximum out of the tyre strategy

The Finn was start from fourth on the grid behind the Ricciardo. The Australian sends to fourth place passing by Bottas into the first corner.

After the initial round of pit-stops Ricciardo was running third after passing Bottas, also the Williams speedy struggled in the final stint; Sebastian Vettel grabbed his way up to fourth from 15th on the grid, with Bottas managed to finish in fifth.

“I’m really happy for us – 10 points is very good. All the time we were in the points and today we got the maximum out of the tyre strategy and me from the car. It was a shame in the end that Vettel came so quickly but we got the points.

“The atmosphere [in the team] is better of course when its quicker. We are all the time fighting for the points in the races so it’s a good feeling to have that hunger and all the time we want more.”
