Vettel failed to take part in second practice for Spanish
Bad situation continues with reigning world champion for Sebastian Vettel, already he missed out from morning practice session after just four laps, before crushing to a stop at Turn Six following team said was an electrical problem.

In second practice session, Red Bull said that the wiring loom had failed and that Vettel would miss the second session while it was repaired.

Red Bull mechanics will now work to fix the trouble ahead of tomorrow morning’s final free practice session.

Team principal Christian Horner said: “It is a matter of closing the gap in the time that is obviously ticking by.

“Mercedes obviously hit the ground running and we have a lot of work to do to close that gap.

“The guys are working tremendously hard and there is a very strong exchange of information and everybody is very much focused on it.”
