Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton back on top with set fastest in second practice for the Chinese Grand Prix, the Brit produced best time of 1:38.315 on the Soft compound tyres ahead of morning pace-setter Fernando Alonso.
Today Ferrari has shown more aggressive that with Kimi Räikkönen set seventh fastest, seems to join Red Bull as an alternative to the dominance of Mercedes. Both practice session ended without too many incidents, except the impact of Pastor Maldonado into the barriers at the entrance of pit-lane and concern for the graining on the tires.
