Malaysian GP Qualifying delayed due to heavy rain

Malaysian Grand Prix, Sepang 02-05 04 2009Season round two, Malaysian Grand Prix qualifying has been delayed due to heavy rainfall. The start of Q1 is now due to get underway 15 minutes later than planned, even though further heavy shower are forecast.

Mercedes duo Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton dominated final practice session today morning, a large rain fall arrived and has failed to ease, making for inseparable conditions.

The delay means there will be no track action until at least 16:15 local time (GMT +8), although Race Control has confirmed that it will issue another schedule update.
