Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel took third fastest lap-time for the second free practice in Malaysia. But the defending world champion cannot bring himself to say that Red Bull is ready to return to competitive ways.
In the morning session he struggled with some technical difficulties, on the afternoon Vettel managed to place third in the time-sheet with his RB10, showing that the car in Milton Keyenes has a good pace on the pitch. However, Sebastian does not want to say too much about what might happen on the track in the next few days.
“I think we had a good day, obviously Friday timings are not the most important thing in the world but it’s good to be up there and in range of the top guys.” Vettel said
“I think we had a decent day, not a completely smooth day for both of us, there are still some things to solve on the software side and the programming, but that’s the way it is. I think we have to learn a lot but all in all, I’m quite happy.”
