F1 Grand Prix of KoreaRed Bull chief designer Adrian Newey is completely opposing the new double point’s rules. Even though some top F1 executives is currently discussing to introduce double points system in final races.

According to the design guru, awarding more points for a victory at one race is an imitation concept similar to professional WWF.

“It’s a personal view, but I’m not a fan of it at all,” Newey told Autosport. To me it just seems very artificial that third place [in Abu Dhabi] will now be worth more than first place at Monaco or another race.
