Lotus F1 new challenger E22 successively completed the maximum mileage 100 kilometres without any major troubles (the authority permitted maximum 100km) in last of its two F1 promotional filming days at Jerez last weekend.
Lotus the only team skipped opening pre-season test at Jerez, during the opening four day test all Renault powered machines are struggled, following all eyes on Lotus’s progress, freshly Lotus spokesman says that new signing Pastor Maldonado tested both chassis in Jerez without any major problem.
“Both the chassis and the new Renault power unit ran without any major problems,” a spokesman told Autosport.
“Pastor settled in very quickly and is already fitting into the team nicely. The car went together well and the design and build quality is another step up on the successful E21 of 2013.
“We are looking forward to a full testing programme in Bahrain next week where we will start to see the potential of the new package.”
