Williams fires up Mercedes powered 2014 F1 car

Formula One Testing, Day 3, Barcelona, Spain, Thursday 21 February 2013Williams F1 announced that, fired up its 2014 F1 car for the first time on Saturday evening.

They published on Official twitter account, on Saturday that the new Mercedes powered engine was fired up for the first time. The 2014 new challenger called FW36.

The Grove based-outfit continue preparations for the 2014 F1 season, The team has yet to confirm when its new car will be launched.

Williams’ boss, Sir Frank Williams was present at the factory on Saturday evening to see the Mercedes engine fired up for the first time.

In 2014 F1 season Williams will use Mercedes engines following switching from Renault over last season end. Pre-season test will start on January 28 in Jerez, and the team has confirmed it will be there.
