Red Bull restructures engineering division following Mercedes hunt

SONY DSCRecently Mercedes F1 team announced that Ellis and Giles Wood will leave Red Bull to join its team in the summer, it’s definitely shake-up the champions engineering branch.

After the Mercedes’ engineers hunt, Red Bull announced that Pierre Wache has become its head of vehicle dynamics, replacing Mark Ellis.

“Infiniti Red Bull Racing is pleased to advise that Pierre Waché, Chief Engineer, Car Performance, will take over responsibility for the Vehicle Dynamics department for the team with immediate effect,” a statement said.

“Having been recruited twelve months ago, Pierre joined the team from Sauber in June and is now well positioned to take on this new role.

“The team would like to thank Mark Ellis and Giles Wood for their contribution and wish them well for the future.”

“Wache joined the team from Sauber last June as chief engineer role, car performance and the Red Bull is confident he is “well positioned to take on this new position”.
