2014 Sauber C33 passes crash tests

Sauber-F1-Team-2013-Wallpaper-HD-DesktopSauber F1 team has revealed that its 2014 Formula 1 chassis C33 has passed all the compulsory FIA crash tests.

The team announced the report on their official Twitter that the Sauber C33 had “passed all static and dynamic tests of the FIA and is officially homologated”.

Most teams are expected to whole similar crash tests in the coming weeks, with the new Caterham seemingly passing it’s over the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend.

Sauber also added “the rear crash test, which is not part of the chassis homologation, will take place separately at a later date, as usual”.

Still all 11 F1 teams have not declared their launch dates with brand V6 cars, pre-season testing will start at Jerez on January 28, 2014.
