Lewis Hamilton has dedicated Hungarian Grand Prix victory to his girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.
The Brit secured his first victory with new team Mercedes on Sunday in Hungary, held Kimi Raikkonen (Lotus) and Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull) in a hot climate.
“It was one of the most important victories of my career,” Hamilton said softly. Then his voice faltered. “I’ve thought about the whole race of a person who is special to me, and I wanted to dedicate it to her.”
From its atmosphere came through that Hamilton wants to fly her to America today and speak with her again. He has even written a song for her.
The Daily Star reports, “Lewis Hamilton has written a song to win back his ex Nicole Scherzinger. The Formula 1 ace is pouring out his feelings with the new tune in a bid to get the romance back on track.
“Lewis talked about the song and admitted he was struggling to cope without the sexy X Factor judge in a string of tweets.”
He posted a picture of himself in a recording studio over the weekend with the remark, “My hideaway, pouring my heart into this track!!”
The song is entitled All Good Tonight, and while revealing that, he also posted a picture of himself – the one at the top of this article – playing guitar. His tweet read, “All good tonight, you gonna love this one.”
