Sebastian Vettel wins Bahrain Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel takes all of the controls and easily took top of the podium for 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix. Reigning world champion set his 28th victory from 105 races and also he extended his championship lead.

Kimi Raikkonen set second place on the podium ahead of his team-mate Romain Grosjean. Force India’s Paul di Resta finished on fourth ahead of Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton.

This is the repeat of the 2012 Bahrain Grand Prix podium, Sebastian Vettel, Lotus duo Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean. Lotus adopts different strategies for their duo, Raikkonen for two stop and Grosjean for three stop.

Lewis Hamilton struggled early part of the race, but Mercedes’ pit-strategy helped him and to finish fifth from ninth. McLaren duo showed aggressive pace in whole of the race, Sergio Perez claimed sixth place finally he took this place from Mark Webber and many time he fight with team-mate Jenson Button and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso

The Spaniard early attacks pole-sitter Nico Rosberg and continues push for P1 but following seven laps he takes pit not only switching from the medium-compound tyres to the hard, but mainly due to a problem with his DRS (jammed his rear wing when open for flying) finally finished on eighth place.

Pole sitter Nico Rosberg struggled with off-pace and adopt four-stop strategy and he finished ninth place from front. Jenson Button completed the top ten in the 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix points table.
