Hamilton received five places grid penalty for Bahrain GP

165418_537385319637897_983312639_nLewis Hamilton received a five-place grid penalty for the Bahrain Grand Prix as his team decided that change his gearbox following final practice.

At the end of final free practice Hamilton’s left-rear tyre collapse and his car’s suspension damaged following the incident Mercedes decided that they will also change his gearbox before the qualifying.

Lewis Hamilton joins with Red Bull’s Mark Webber and Sauber’s Esteban Gutierrez who previously have penalties for this weekend’s race.
