Vettel took pole position in tricky conditions for Australian GP

Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel start the Pole hunting, the German easily took the front slot on the grid for season opening Grand Prix at Australia.

The local boy Mark Webber will start from the second on the grid alongside with his team-mate Sebastian Vettel, the Australian reserved front row by just 0.420s on his final attempt.

Mercedes’ new baby, Lewis Hamilton took third place on the grid, 0.6s off the Red Bull’s pace, and the Brit will start alongside with Ferraris’ Felipe Massa.

Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso and Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg will start from third row on the grid. Lotus’ duo Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean set seventh and eighth place respectively ahead of Force India’s Paul di Resta and Jenson Button in the upsetting McLaren.
