Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel still fastest on whole of the day in the season opening practice day for Australian Grand Prix.
His team-mate Mark Webber took second quickest lap-time, in the morning session of the Friday practice the German was set fastest lap-time.
Whole contender was fight with super-soft compound and also the teams all switched to heavy fuel runs soon after.
Nico Rosberg set third fastest in this session, Mercedes performed with hopeful pace on both practice session, but also had end the segment with problems. Lewis Hamilton was set seventh fastest, but the final phase of the session he was forced out following a minor crash at Turn 9.
Lotus Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean set fourth and fifth fastest respectively. Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso took sixth quickest ahead of Lewis Hamilton and his team-mate Felipe Massa.
Force India’s Adrian Sutil managed ninth fastest and Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg completed the top ten in the second practice time-sheet.
