The French speedy Jules Bianchi pleased with first experience with new team Marussia, he successively completed first test with Marussia MR02 at Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.
Before the final pre-season test, Bianchi’s race seat lost out on the Force India following the Silverstone based squad announces that Adrian Sutil’s name as di Resta’s new team-mate.
Straight away Marussia confirmed that Jules Bianchi will race for this season following the team was forced to terminate Luiz Razia’s deal. On his first day the French man completed 74 laps with a best time of 1:24.028.
“It is very special for me, I would like to thank Marussia, the French Federation and Ferrari,” Bianchi said following the first impression with Marussia.
“I am just really happy, I did my bes to learn everything and be ready for Australia. My first impressions are really positive, I felt really comfortable in the car which was good.
“Obviously we have some work to do but we know that and we will do our best to improve the car soon.”
“It is useful for them because even as recently as last week I drove a Force India and last year I drove in practice,” he added.
“I haven’t done any races but I have some experience in Formula 1 so hopefully we can do a good job, even with two rookies.”
