Perez: McLaren knows how to handle young drivers

McLaren new recruit Sergio Peres says that, team knows how to handle young drivers; also he think about his forerunner in the cockpit Lewis Hamilton and Mexican want same level of treatment.

Perez also believes that his line-up with Button must help out Woking based get best from the 2013 Pirelli new compounds. Also he hardly believes top podium with 2013 McLaren.

Last year some races uninteresting following single pit-stop (low degradation). This season Pirelli launches 2013 compound and they says, “Pirelli will have to get used to a little bit more degradation”

“I have good news for everybody: McLaren is a team that knows how to handle young drivers. Just think about my predecessor in the cockpit – Lewis Hamilton. He joined the team with no F1 experience at all and the team helped him to blossom into a winner and a champion. All I want is to get the same treatment.” Perez told the official Formula 1 website

“Hopefully, But that is all speculation right now – nothing is certain when you haven’t been in the car and done a good deal of mileage. My guess is that it would, of course, help the team to have two drivers with quite similar driving styles. But how similar are we? We’ll find out in the next couple of weeks when we sit in the same car. Anything else would be comparing apples with oranges.”

Sergio Perez is also target top podium in 2013 Formula 1 season with McLaren Mercedes.
