Stefano Domenicali believes that Ferrari will not repeat last season opening trouble. During the 2012 pre-season winter testing Ferrari troubled with the F2012 exhaust layout and also suffered with a wind tunnel results issue, they are believed to be at least partly to blame for Ferrari’s lack of testing pace.
Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali now claims that team will not recreate last year difficulty and expecting much stronger start to the 2013 Formula 1 season.
The Italian F1 squad still not announces date for the launch of its new machine F2013, last year they are revealed its 2012 design to the public before pre-season testing got during at Jerez.
“What happened to us at the first winter test in Jerez last year will not happen to us this year,” Domenicali told Auto Motor und Sport.
“The upcoming season will be decided in the first races. The teams will do their work for 2013 and then pretty quickly move on to the preparations for 2014. I think this switch will happen no later July, so it is important to have a good car for the beginning.”
