Russian media reports that Vitaly Petrov’s manager has revealed that the Russian driver likely to remain with Caterham in 2013 F1 season, the Finnish newspaper Turun Sanomat claims this report.
Petrov’s final race contribution was big for the team, he finishing P11 in Brazil, It was secured 10th in the constructors’ for Caterham, winning extra prize money for the team in doing so.
The Russian’s 2012 campaign team-mate Heikki Kovalainen was forced out from the next year entry list following the team has already announced that Charles Pic will be driving Caterham next year.
Petrov’s manager Oksana Kosachenko told Turun Sanomat “all the necessary work on our part is done, and it’s for Caterham to decide.
“I believe Vitaly’s race in Brazil securing tenth place in the manufacturers’ championship helps us to stay where we were.”
