2013 Mercedes W04 passes FIA crash tests

Brand new 2013 Mercedes AMG W04 chassis has passed all 18 FIA crash tests ahead of the New Year, according to Germany’s a leading German automobile magazine Auto Motor und Sport.

Mercedes AMG was struggled the entire race of this season, they claim only single top podium finish at Chinese GP with Rosberg. And the German outfit earned only 142 points, 61 less than fourth placed Lotus.

Auto Motor und Sport reports that, end of season 2012 Mercedes missing between 1.5 and two seconds on top of the class, because the Red Bull team champion with his redesign for 2013 up to at least one more second is Mercedes needs to make up for their own account about three seconds.
