Michael Schumacher disappointed with Norbert Haug’s exit from Mercedes, he says it will create a massive hole in both Formula 1 and Mercedes.
Norbert Haug departed from the Mercedes following 22-year reign as head of Mercedes Motorsport.
Haug’s deal coming to an end, the judgment for his exit has been made by mutual agreement with Mercedes’ board of management.
“Since I entered professional motorsport, Mercedes and Norbert Haug together were part of it, so this step will mark a big break,” Schumacher wrote on his official website.
“We spend a lot of years together, being sporting combatants or allies, and Norbert has always been into this with full enthusiasm and wholeheartedly. He was living motorsports, and him leaving will tear a massive hole in both our sport and our team.”
