Bernie Ecclestone says 19 races for 2013 F1 season

Formula 1 official right holder Bernie Ecclestone says that he believes only 19 grand’s prix for next year, but he not rejecting Turkish Grand Prix return.

Following New Jersey Grand Prix delayed decision; the FIA has added a new window for a Grand Prix to be held on July 21 and primarily suggested to favour a comeback to Turkey.

Last week Red Bull said it is unlocks to the idea of having a GP at Red Bull Ring in Austria had the possible to host a race. Bernie said he had not really discussed the plan with anybody.

“Right now I think we will have only 19 grands prix next year. That wouldn’t be a big problem for Formula 1,” Ecclestone told Kleine Zeitung.

“I have not talked about this with anyone.” Ecclestone said about possibility of hosting a race in Austria.

“Right now I’m thinking more about Turkey so we return to Istanbul.”
