2011 Brazilian GP winner Red Bull Racing’s Mark Webber says that he is disappointed with missing front row for tomorrow race. Also he added that not playing a supporting role for Vettel, and he will focus on his own race tomorrow.
Tomorrow the Australian starts from third on the grid one place ahead of his team-mate and championship leader Sebastian Vettel. The German’s main title contender Alonso qualified eighth on the grid.
Webber also admits that weather will maybe be tricky for Sunday race and hard to try finish.
“We got the most out of that, but it was disappointing not to get onto the front row,” Webber said immediately after the session.
“I thought the lap would be enough, but we were a tenth off; it’s always tight here in qualifying. In the last race of the season it would have been good to get pole, but fair play to McLaren.”
“I think that we’ll focus on ourselves tomorrow, the weather will maybe be tricky and it’s a long Grand Prix, so I’ll just focus on my efforts and try to get to the finish as quickly as possible.” ,” he reacted.
