Button set top fastest in third practice for Brazilian GP

Today Jenson Button keeps the McLaren pace in third free practice for Brazilian Grand Prix. Championship leader Sebastian Vettel set second fastest ahead of his team-mate Mark Webber.

Most time of the final session used Silver side-wall tyre compound. Friday practice pace setter Lewis Hamilton set fourth fastest during the final stint of the session.

Romain Grosjean took fifth fastest, the Swiss-French man consistently keep the pace. But his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen not able to compete in the final practice due engine failure, yesterday the Finn struggled with the engine related issues.

Lotus will use spare engine for the race without having to take a penalty for requiring a ninth engine. The Finn just completed three trial laps, not proficient to done any flying lap.

The Force India duo consistently keeps the pace with equal compound, Paul di Resta and Nico Hulkenberg set sixth and seventh fastest respectively with white side-wall Pirelli.

Championship contender Fernando Alonso was back in eighth, the Spaniard was deserted his final session run due to heavy traffic.

Williams’s Pastor Maldonado set ninth fastest ahead of local hero Felipe Massa, Bruno Senna and Nico Rosberg completed top 12th in the final practice time-sheet.

Michael Schumacher had a lucky escape when local guy Bruno Senna ran very wide out between Turn 14 and 15, following spun his car come-back across the straight in the Schumacher’s flying way, the German keep away from being composed and continued carefully.
