FIA confirmed Single DRS Zone for 2012 Brazilian GP

Formula 1 governing body FIA decided that single DRS zone for 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix. DRS detection points starts from T2 and it will activate at exit T3. Not anything top out of Turn 12.

DRS detection point will be just previous to T2 (Turn two), activation point start from just after T3 (turn three. So FIA giving the best opportunity to overtake in rain expected Brazilian GP.

Critical Points of Balance: Between turn 6 and turn 12 the middle sector of the circuit, one turn follows other in middle sector. Good traction and balance are crucial here. Allianz Formula One Safety Engineer explained.

Critical Points of Overtake: Between turn 2 and turn 3, in a good slip stream you can pull alongside a rival in the “Senna-S”. But mistake are easy to make as the track meanders downhill.

This season Interlagos made some changes that, installation of the new debris barrier on the both side of the track between turn 3 and 4 and also kerb on installed on the apex on the turn 15. Tube inserts have also in placed in the tyre wall at the end of barrier at Pit-entry.
