Hamilton grabs victory from Vettel for inaugural American GP

After a long time battle Lewis Hamilton grabbed victory from the Pole-sitter Sebastian Vettel for inaugural United States Grand Prix. In the opening lap of the race Hamilton’s one place lost due to the dirty side starting, Webber advantaged there, but despite Australian forced out from the race due to KERS trouble.

Hamilton and Vettel battle finally decided on lap 42 out of 57; Hamilton managed to pull the move off. Vettel tried to defend the Brit, but McLaren’s DRS s straight-line pace give him smooth overtaking opportunity, but they are hold on the battle at end of race.

But still Sebastian Vettel still top on the drivers’ championship now he 13 points ahead of Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso. The Spaniard finished third place ahead of his team-mate Felipe Massa.

In the Lap 17 Mark Webber forced out from the battle following Red Bull reported that he was struggled with KERS problem, all drivers are struggled following the first pit stop due to late tyre temperature.

Lotus duo Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean finished sixth and seventh respectively. Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg, Williams’s duo Pastor Maldonado and Bruno Senna completed the top ten for the inaugural US Grand Prix.
