Sebastian Vettel set his domination in whole practice session of the Indian Grand Prix, and posted another fastest lap in qualifying. Tomorrow Vettel and Webber will start from the front row of the grid for main race. Red Bull’s main rival McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton is confident that the Woking based team can challenge the champions for top podium in India.
“Yeah, absolutely,” Hamilton said during the post qualifying press conference, when asked if he was happy with third on the grid.
“The team have done a great job this weekend, dialling the setup into the car.
“To have us on the second row…we’re not quick enough to be ahead of Red Bull, but we can definitely challenge them in the race. Our race pace was definitely as good as theirs in practice, so I’m excited about that.”
Tomorrow Lewis Hamilton and his team-mate Jenson Button will start from the second row on the grid, ahead of Ferrari duo Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa.
