Vettel fastest in opening practice for Indian GP

Championship leader Sebastian Vettel set quickest lap-time in opening Friday practice for Indian Grand Prix. McLaren’s Jenson Button done second quickest lap, Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso posted third fastest lap time in the morning session.

Defending world champion posted the fastest time in final session of running, with a best time of 1:27.619 on Friday opening practice. McLaren’s Jenson Button, Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton and Mark Webber completed the top five.

Today morning Sauber decided that Esteban Gutierrez to replace Sergio Perez in FP1 in India. But he posted 1m46.071s time was not very best, only 20th in the session.

Williams reserve driver Valtteri Bottas performed well in the morning session he was done 11th fastest ahead of his team regular driver Pastor Maldonado.

Reserve driver Giedo van der Garde drives Heikki Kovalainen’s machine for Caterham, and he done 19th quickest behind the Caterham’s race driver Vitaly Petrov.

Daniel Ricciardo performed well in the session he is the only man best from the mid-runners and to set ninth place for Toro Rosso.
