|Hamilton celebrates Italian GP victory|
Lewis Hamilton believes that he is driving ‘better than ever’, last race weekend his title expectation ended at Korean GP following his McLaren anti roll-bar failure.
Constantly both McLaren drivers struggled with poor consistency, last three races championship contender Lewis Hamilton struggled too with various mechanical failures. In Singapore GP he was disappointed with gearbox failure, during the Japanese GP struggled with rear-suspension problem and last race weekend his McLaren anti roll-bar failure.
Following the anti roll-bar failure the Brit finished in tenth place, now he is 62 points behind the championship leader Sebastian Vettel. Now he expecting better results in Indian Grand Prix, also he gives high regard for Buddh International Circuit, saying its special circuit like a Spa (Belgian GP) model.
“I feel I’ve been driving better than ever recently – even if the results haven’t quite shown it – so I’m headed to India determined for another good result,” Hamilton said.
“I think we’ll have a car that’s a match for the circuit and I can’t wait to get out there and start practicing on Friday.”
“Most modern tracks have a very similar feel; you find that the same driving style and rhythm suits them all. But the Buddh International Circuit is different: it has more in common with a great track like Spa than it does with any number of the more modern places we visit.“ he added.
“And that’s because it’s got an incredible flow – basically, from Turn Four, a wide-apex right-hander that sweeps downhill, the track is just a series of fast, rolling curves which really allow you to put the car absolutely on the limit.”
