Massa signed a new deal with Ferrari for 2013 F1

Felipe Massa has signed a new one-year deal with Ferrari for 2013 Formula 1 season; the Italian F1 outfit confirmed and released statement in team official website, Ferrari they are renewed its deal with the driver Felipe Massa.

The first-half of the season, Felipe Massa’s future was discussed with his poor start, but the second-half of the season he back on better form, Last five races Felipe Massa earned 56 points with one second podium, two fourth places, and one fifth place. Latest races improvement has help his secured future seat at Ferrari.

“Scuderia Ferrari announces it has renewed its contract with the driver Felipe Massa to the end of the 2013 race season,” Ferrari said in a statement.

“The Scuderia’s driver line-up for next year is therefore made up of Fernando Alonso and the aforementioned Felipe Massa.”

Felipe Massa pleased with new deal and he admitted that he is committed with future role and he added that his power to help the Ferrari to get the goals that happen every season.

“Ferrari is my sports family. First, I want to thank President Montezemolo and (team principal) Stefano Domenicali, who gave me confidence which I have always maintained, even in the most difficult moments,” said the 31-year-old.

“Both the team and the fans can be assured I will do all that is in my power to help the Scuderia to achieve the goals that arise every year.”
