Sebastian Vettel to join Ferrari in 2014



Following the Korean Grand Prix victory, rumors build up in F1 paddock that, defending world champion Sebastian Vettel to join Ferrari for 2014 F1 season.

Now the German fight with Ferrari speedy Alonso for 2012 Formula 1 title, after the Korean GP victory, Vettel takes the title lead from Alonso and now he six points ahead of Spaniard.

Double world champion set extra special achievement with Red Bull; and he admits he also interest driver for Ferrari.

“All 24 drivers on the grid would say yes to, given the chance [to join the Italian outfit], and that includes me,” he told Bild on July.

“It is just an awesome race team, but it has to fit on all sides. Who knows, maybe everything is different and then suddenly I go somewhere else. [I’m honoured] a man like Stefano Domenicali or Luca di Montezemolo sees me as a Ferrari driver.”

BBC reports that, source from within the Ferrari camp who revealed Vettel’s move has also point out that Felipe Massa’s recent podium finish coupled with his fourth-place finish in Korea has earned him a one-year extension to his current contract.

After the Italian Grand Prix last month, Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali congratulates Vettel. Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo has also openly commented that the German-Spanish combination would be a unbeaten one.
