Maldonado: I Want to stay with Williams

The Spanish Grand Prix winner, Pastor Maldonado says that he want to stay with Williams F1 team. He claims that Williams is getting better and better every day and still good confidence continues with this team, but not confirmed at the moment.

The negative reports of the Venezuelan, that he is the top man, received penalties in this season. Totally he received seven penalties and two Reprimand. four time grid drop (Inc Gear-box change) , two times drive through, One time he get fine, over speeding pitlane during European GP FP3, fined € 1,400.

Currently he is 15th in the drivers’ championship with just 33 points ahead of his team-mate Bruno Senna. Williams on eighth in the constructors title 23 points behind the Force India.

Reporters asked him about the future plan, Maldonado said. “To be honest I realty want to stay with Williams. It’s a good team and the team is getting better and better every day. We’ve been rebuilding everything in the team and I think now it’s more
compact and the car is looking, as I mentioned before, every day better and better.”

“So good confidence with them but at the moment there is not confirmation. So looking forward to seeing that but otherwise looking forward to remaining in Formula One for sure.” He said during the Thursday press conference.

The Venezuelan expecting Williams can make a good qualifying performance, race, and will more competitive in Korean GP.

“I hope so! I hope to have a competitive car and a part of that is to be quite competitive in qualifying. We missed a couple of tenths in the last qualifying in Suzuka and we were out of Q3.” He added

“It was quite a good pace during the race but we are really looking forward here to being in Q3 and very competitive. But it’s very difficult to know exactly where we’ll be.”
