DRS zone reduced for Japanese GP

The Japanese Grand Prix DRS located at the start/finish strait line at Suzuka circuit, Single DRS (Drag Reduction System) zone permitted for Japanese GP.

This season Formula 1 governing body (FIA) has decided to shortened Japanese Grand Prix DRS zone by 20 metres, and zone still located on the start/finish straight at Suzuka.

Reduced the zone will help more overtaking opportunity about late braking during the long turn one at Suzuka.

DRS detection point remains 50 metres ahead of the last chicane at turn 16, with the activation point on the exit of turn 18. This year Suzuka set up a new water drainage systems from turn 7 until following the chicane.
