Vettel fastest in Singapore GP Practice One

Sebastian Vettel took top fastest lap-time in free practice one for Singapore Grand Prix. Defending world champion has edging McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton by 0.049s.

McLaren Lewis Hamilton set second top fastest lap-time ahead his team-mate Jenson Button. Championship leader Fernando Alonso was done fourth quickest lap with 1:51.525.

Marina Bay circuit very wet in early time on the session following heavy rain, finally dry condition hit the track.

First half hour’s running with only Jean-Eric Vergne, Romain Grosjean, Pedro de la Rosa, and Timo Glock setting times on intermediates.

Final 30 minutes there was a charming period of running when first Hamilton, and then Vettel went fastest and the pair traded times at the top of the leader board.

Pastor Maldonado set fifth fastest ahead of Vettel’s team-mate Mark Webber. Force India duo Paul di Resta and Nico Hulkenberg set seventh and eighth fastest respectively.

Toro Rosso’s Daniel Ricciardo done ninth fastest and Sauber’s Sergio Perez set tenth fastest ahead of Williams’s Bruno Senna and Lotus’s Kimi Raikkonen.
