Schumacher confirmed for 2012 Race of Champions at Bangkok

Seven times world champions Michael Schumacher confirmed for 2012 Race of Champions, and it’s planned to be seized in Bangkok, Thailand.

Michael Schumacher will compete in RoC team-up with fellow citizen Sebastian Vettel for the Nations Cup; the duo has won Nations Cup for the last five years.

This year organizers more prepared for 25th Race of Champions and they are expecting 50,000 spectators in Rajamangala Stadium. In 1998 Thailand make this Stadium for Asian Games.

“I have never raced in Thailand before so this will be an interesting addition to my motorsport travels,” Schumacher said.

“Racing in a stadium is sensational – and it’s a very different experience for us drivers to hear the fans so close,” he added. “And of course we are all professionals so the moment we close the visor we want to win”
