Next Grand Prix of Germany at Hockenheim the DRS zone will be placed on the run up to the hairpin. The German GP will take place this weekend. F1 returns to the German venue Hockenheim this weekend. German GP is now broken with the Nürburgring; the sport is yet to stay the former since 2010.
The detection point will be placed on the exit of Turn 4, with activation coming 260 meters later to allow for use through the long, left-handed Parabolika which leads the track to the hairpin of Turn 6.
It is the first time that the DRS will be used at Hockenheim. Besides this debut, also Pirelli will visit the circuit for the first time and KERS will make a debut at the track as well.
