Felipe Massa is confident that he can continue with Ferrari if he keeps on delivering his current advance performance.
The Brazilian delivered his best result in two years with fourth place in the British GP. Massa improved his performance from the Monaco Grand Prix onwards.
“I think if we keep working like that and keep improving the car and working, I don’t see a reason why I cannot be here,” explained Massa.
Last some weeks F1 paddock talks that, Ferrari and Mark Webber discussed regarding a new contract for next year. But new Red Bull and Webber contract gives green signal for Massa secure next year seat.
Massa himself feels that he can show over the remains of the campaign why he is worth keeping, now that he is much happier with Ferrari F2012.
“I feel much more comfortable, and driving in the direction that I like,” he said.
“I feel there is a lot more to come. This is the direction we need to keep working; to improve the situation every race and to make a different championship for myself from now until the end of the season.”
