Ferrari says that they are still waiting for who will associate with Fernando Alonso 2013 F1, after end the latest speculation that Mark Webber to joins Ferrari for 2013. Today Milton Keynes F1 squad confirmed that Webber will drive with Red Bull for 2013 F1.
Ferrari will look a potential modification of driver in 2013, but the existing speedy Felipe Massa still performing well in recent race especially he improved after Monaco GP.
Stefano Domenicali, team boss says that Ferrari still waiting for 2013 driver talks, because the team almost satisfied with Felipe Massa’s current form. In last race at Silverstone Massa finished fourth place with valuable 12points and its gain Ferrari now on second in the constructor’s championship.
“I have said all the time that we are in no rush,” Domenicali said before confirmation news of Webber’s deal with Red Bull Racing for 2013.
“I am happy to see that Felipe was fourth [at Silverstone]. He was very unlucky in Valencia, so I think it [his struggle] is all over.
“I am happy to see after a very difficult start that he is in this shape and I really hope he can keep it up to the end.”
“I am very pleased to have seen that Felipe was very quick, fighting hard and consistently throughout the weekend,” di Montezemolo told the Ferrari website. “It was very important for him and for us, because it is partly due to the points he scored that we have moved up to second in the constructors’ classification.”
