Red Bull decide to talk about Webber future

Red Bull Racing plans to take decision in Mark Webber’s future talks and its will discussing over the next few weeks.

In paddock talks Mark Webber joins with Ferrari as replace Felipe Massa, Red Bull Racing team Principal says that Webber driving very well this season and his keenness for Formula 1 is clearly showed there.

“We’re reaching that time of the year that we’ll sit down and talk about the future,” said Horner ahead of the British Grand Prix.

“With Mark, he’s driving very well this year, I think his enthusiasm for Formula 1 is clearly there. I think he’s in great shape, and he’s delivering in the car, so we’ll sit down over the next few weeks and start to talk about the future.”

Webber continuing in Formula 1 with rolling one-year deal at Red Bull Racing for some seasons now, and has normally finalized his new deals over the summer breaks.

“I think the winter break was very good for me,” Webber said.

“My focus was to really enjoy the start of the season and get the most out of my driving again, which is clearly all in my hands with my motivation and level of spirit towards the job, and also towards the guys [in the team].

“I’m really, really enjoying my work. For next year? Yeah, there’s a pretty decent chance I’ll be racing in Formula 1.”
