Buemi expecting to drive Toro Rosso or Red Bull in Friday practice



Red Bull Racing test driver Sebastian Buemi has revealed that he expects to drive in Friday practice session in Formula 1 this season. Buemi lost his cockpit from Toro Rosso at the end of last season after he joins with champions Red Bull as a third driver role.

The Swiss speedy now focused on working in the simulator of Milton Keynes, execute aerodynamic tests in a straight line also goes to every Grand Prix to cover a possible low of one of the team’s race drivers, Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel.

“I do not know if Toro Rosso or Red Bull, but I hope to ride early in the first session (free practice) of a Grand Prix,” Buemi told caranddriverthef1, who recently took the wheel of champions Red Bull 2010 in a display at the Nürburgring test of the World Series by Renault.

“It’s a way to continue driving in some way. For displays the car is not the current one, but there are also aerodynamic testing,” recalled the Swiss to add immediately afterwards: “I overcame a difficult winter after being replaced (Toro Rosso) but it is important to have remained in the Red Bull family. “

“I look forward to racing in F1, I am working for it. I do not know if it can be with Red Bull, I think (Mark) Webber could go on, but there may be other options,” Buemi added.
