Vettel retired from European GP race

The pole man Sebastian Vettel retired from European Grand Prix. The mid-term of the race Safety Car delayed, following safety car leaving the Vettel has cruised to a halt out at turn 17.

Sebastian Vettel dominated the race from pole position and keep hold of his pilot place through a disorganized safety car period.

Vettel was regaining his lead when he pulled off the racing line, allowing ultimate race-winner Fernando Alonso through into the direct.

“The engine stalled, the engine switched off and there’s nothing that we could have done – at the moment we don’t know what the problem was – maybe it was similar to the issue Mark [Webber] had on Friday,” said afterwards.
