Current constructors’ leader Red Bull Racing’s Mark Webber worries about the RB8 qualifying speed. The Red Bull can’t make top five in today both practice session, second practice Webber done his best seventh fastest 1.402sec behind the leader.
World champion and his team-mate Sebastian Vettel was done just ninth and 10th in the both sessions.
“It was not easy for us. We have got some work to do in the next 24 hours,” said Webber. “There are clearly some very quick cars and we have to improve our car.”
“We didn’t get to do as much running as we would like, clearly, same for everybody,” Webber said. “That is the way it went today. Monaco is like that; it throws up some different challenges and we have a few at the moment.”
Webber said about the Saturday qualifying chances at Monaco – “It will be very difficult. We have worked to do.”
