Red Bull sent Lotus a funny ‘invoice’ for fire services

Published

on

(Lotus F1) The fire which destroyed the Lotus F1 Team hospitality suite in Malaysia last week was a fantastic example that, behind the competition on-track, the camaraderie in the Formula 1 paddock really is unique

It may have been said before, but everyone at the team would once again like to express our deepest gratitude to the men and women of the Formula 1 paddock who helped turn a disastrous event into a true demonstration of unity.

Night shift security staff from up and down the paddock bravely pitched in to help salvage the situation, while in the aftermath the help and support provided with catering, hospitality, and so on was quite simply staggering.

As a lighter twist on things we would particularly like to thank Red Bull for the following letter, which we think sums up the atmosphere amongst the teams perfectly:

NB: This is of course, not a genuine invoice as the ‘Business terms’ suggest!
