Bianchi says very sorry following crashing Force India

Force India reserve driver Jules Bianchi made a mistake and the consequences was new VJM05 crashed and lost Force Indian testing time all over the day. Force India reserve driver was safe and the car was quickly recovered to the pits by marshals, the team has been waiting for a parts to land. At 3pm, it confirmed that it would not be running again today.

“I made a small mistake on my second run,” he explained. “The tyres were a bit cold and I spun into the gravel and touched the wall with the right-rear wheel. It was not a very big impact, but it caused some damage.

“I’m very sorry because my mistake has cost the team a lot of time and effort. Going away from here, I want to focus on the positives because we had a very good day yesterday and I’ve really enjoyed working with the team this week.”

Force india said via Twitter – “No more running today,” We are waiting for a part to complete the repair of the car. Should be back out in the morning with Nico Hulkenberg. You always have good and bad days in testing.”
